Private Locators of Idaho LLC provides private utility locating services throughout Idaho and select areas of surrounding states.
We are based in Middleton, Idaho and regularly serve the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Emmett, and surrounding communities. Travel is available statewide for larger projects or scheduled work.
Out-of-state service may be available in nearby areas of Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana depending on project size, schedule, and travel requirements.
Important: We use electromagnetic locating equipment only. We locate traceable utilities such as tracer wires and conductive utilities that are visible or accessible for connection. We do not perform GPR, excavation, repairs, or public 811 locating.

It is important to not only call 811 for locates, but also call a private locator to locate all private utilities that go beyond the meters. This is because 811 only locates public utilities up to the meter, and any private utilities beyond that point are the responsibility of the property owner. A private locator can help identify and mark these private utilities to prevent any damage or accidents during excavation or construction.
